What I'm Thankful For...

"Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts." - Henri Frederic Amiel

What a great quote! The trick is bridging the gap between expressing thankfulness and demonstrating gratitude. While the purpose of this post is to express those things for which I am thankful, my hope is to demonstrate gratitude at all times - for I certainly feel blessed.

I'm thankful for...

the events in my life that led me to my wife.
my son and daughter.
terrific, loving parents.
all ten siblings.
30-something nieces and nephews (I lost count).
amazing in-laws.
the food I will certainly devour; the means for which it will be provided, the hands for which it will be prepared, and the company with whom it will be enjoyed!
lifelong friends and newly formed bonds.
great clients.
year-round golf weather.
my teaching position at 6am.
the students who religiously attend that same 6am class.
bagels and donuts during the 6am class.
the ever-changing legal landscape (never a dull moment).
the Denver Bronco's acquisition of Peyton Manning.
dual-monitors at work.
those wonderful souls who teach my children at church and kindergarten.
DVR
moments of adversity that builds character.
my former coaches.
wonderful teammates.
God.

I'm forever indebted to the countless people who have influenced my life and helped mold me into the person that I am. To all of you...thanks.
